The Alavattam is made up of welwet cloth in center and satin cloth in border with embroidery work on both side. Stiched with good quality wooden ring in center.
Usage
1. Aalavattam is used for fanning service to perumal during daily Thiruvaradhanam. To make it easier to use at home, we have come up with a small Aalavattam of size 13″ in diameter that’s easy to use at home.
2. Doing Aalavattam Kainkarayam / service is considered a blessing and an opportunity given to us to serve Perumal.
3. Many Aacharyas such as Thirukkachi Nambigal (Kanchipurna Swami) has done Aalavattam Kainkaryam for Varadharaja Perumal at Kanchipuram. Today also at Kanchipuram devotees are doing fanning service to Varadaraj Perumal during regular darshan time.
The toran is madeup of Blue color welvet and yellow color satin cloth with shankha chakra tiruman embroidery design and aacharya name in telugu on both side. On the back side of toranam provision made of tag on the both corner.

The toran is used to hang on entrance gate of temple, house, pooja room, mantapam etc.

Pavitra mala used for Perumal alankar. After offering to perumal it can be used as prasadam by devotee. It is can be also used during truvaradhana time.
