| Usage | 1. Aalavattam is used for fanning service to Perumal during daily Thiruvaradhanam. To make it easier to use at home, we have come up with a small Aalavattam of size 15″ in diameter that’s easy to use at home. 2. Doing Aalavattam Kainkarayam / service is considered a blessing and an opportunity given to us to serve Perumal. 3. Many Aacharyas such as Thirukkachi Nambigal (Kanchipurna Swami) has done Aalavattam Kainkaryam for Varadharaja Perumal at Kanchipuram. Today also at Kanchipuram devotees are doing fanning service to Varadaraj Perumal during regular darshan time. |
